Yesterday we wrote to our future teacher.
The best line says, "I am one of the smartest kids in my class, along with my friends Mark and Riley. By the way, we don't mess around." And then at the bottom, it says, "I am an advanced reader." I have no idea where he came up with that, I don't think I have EVER used that term!:-)
"Make sure there are a lot of books!"
We drew pictures of our favorite memories.

Field Day Frenzy Begins--We don't have any kind of organized field day. Parents run stations that are all over the field. Students can do as many or few as they like. We tell them to stay with a buddy for the day and have a good time, from 12:15 until 1:45! Then we have popsicles and walk to the busses.
Chicken Toss
Bouncy Balls
Bouncy Houses
Tug-a-War
Hula Hoop Tossing
Hula Hooping
Digging marbles out of bucket of soapy water.
And then some of the Portland Timbers showed up! They signed all kinds of things...shoes, shirts...
And now onto the room packing. I don't know how so many of you out there are onto thinking about next year! I need a brain break first:-)
Happy Friday,
I am certainly enjoying my brain-break! I feel overwhelmed by all the book study's available. I may just go to the beach and read young adult fiction! Enjoy your time off! If you get really bored, but don't want to strain your brain, you can come help me move!!
