Run Run Run Jog-a-thon Fun
Friday was our annual jog-a-thon. Lots of fun and the weather was fabulous! We got new school shirts and waited all morning for our turn to run! We used to do a whole bunch of little (and sometimes not so fun) fundraisers. Now we do one big Jog-a-thon fundraiser. I love that it eliminates the door to door sales pitch. And once kids get pledges...or if their parents get them for them, students do the running. So everyone helps out our school. And of course their are prizes for most money raised, most laps, most pledges...etc. Also, it is a healthy way to spend the day:-)

We ran.
We worked hard. One tally for each lap.
We ran some more.
We got popsicles.
And aren't we a cute giant group of Chickadees....

We had our first jog-a-thon last spring. Our school raised quite a bit of money. I hope yours did too!
