I have had the same students for 3 years now - so I always need new material.

Looking From Third to Fourth
Elementary AMChttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10972140936502799290noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2061921505378808804.post-71002757738152342202013-01-04T11:27:45.756-08:002013-01-04T11:27:45.756-08:00LOVE the Guys Read collections. We've actually...LOVE the Guys Read collections. We've actually got a pretty successful "Guys Read" program going in our school library. And, as it turns out, I didn't have to do anything more than suggest it to the family specialist (who runs our Watch DOG program) and pick up some high-interest non-fic at the bookfair. I thought it had to be pretty planned, with a theme and such. But the volunteer dads have been great at just enjoying the books with the boys and talking about all the different places and ways they read.
Have you ever seen the Babymouse books? They take a little convincing (they are very pink) but once convinced the boys eat them up! They also have really liked How to Talk to Girls (by Alec Greven ... also Moms, Dads, and Santa).Ms. Ohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00961883284227010403noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2061921505378808804.post-14195613433881813692013-01-03T07:19:24.673-08:002013-01-03T07:19:24.673-08:00I will have to check out the Guys Read and Tin Tin...I will have to check out the Guys Read and Tin Tin series.
