Photography Amazingness

Our school is part of the Right Brain Initiative.  A program focused on getting arts into schools.  To find out more about Right Brain, click here.  Last year our class worked with Julie Keefe for a week long residency and the final products were fantastic.  This year, she is back again and again what the kids come up with is beyond what I ever would imagine a 2nd grader would do.
Here is some of the amazing work STUDENTS accomplished!
Want this photo hanging on my wall.

"My back is a suitcase for my spine"  LOVE that!

Sorry about the camera glare.  The hexagon piece is great!

Would like this picture hanging in my house.

Love that her reflection is between her hands!

"My hands put thinking on paper"  Such a great line!
We were even featured in the Right Brain initiative's blog.  You can get a glimpse of the process!

  1. Is this based off of the Best Part of Me book? I want to do this project so bad. May have to do it in the winter!

  2. Based a bit, I think. Each grade did a different project. I am so proud of them!
